Triage Sec, Inc. ("Triage") uses applicant information to consider people for roles and manage recruiting. This notice covers information we receive through applications, recruiting platforms, email, referrals, and conversations with candidates.

Information we receive

Depending on the application and stage of the process, we may receive your name and contact details, résumé, work and education history, professional profiles, portfolio or work samples, availability, and information you share in correspondence and interviews. We may also keep interview notes and assessments relevant to the role.

Information comes from you, the application platform you use, people who introduce or refer you, and professional information you make publicly available. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information or another party's confidential information that is unnecessary for your application.

How we use it

We use applicant information to communicate with you, assess experience and suitability for a role, arrange interviews and work exercises, make hiring decisions, and maintain recruiting records. We also use information where necessary to meet legal obligations, provide requested accommodations, and establish or defend legal claims.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on legitimate interests in recruiting and evaluating candidates, steps requested before entering an employment agreement, legal obligations, or consent where required. Additional requirements apply to sensitive information where relevant. Providing application information is voluntary, but without relevant details we may be unable to consider your application.

Who receives it

Applicant information is shared with people involved in recruiting and hiring, providers supporting communications and recruitment, and professional advisers where needed. It may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect legal rights, or in a business transaction subject to applicable protections.

Our careers page provides an email contact for introductions. If you contact us through a recruiting platform, its own privacy notice applies to its independent processing. This notice covers the information Triage receives and uses.

Retention and location

We retain recruiting information as needed for the hiring process, relevant follow-up, recordkeeping requirements, and the establishment or defense of legal claims. The appropriate period depends on the role, the outcome of the process, and applicable law. If you join Triage, relevant information becomes part of your employment records.

Triage is based in the United States. Recruiting information may be processed there and where the providers used in the process operate, subject to applicable data protection requirements. Contact us about retention, locations, or safeguards relevant to your information.

Your rights and contact

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to a relevant privacy regulator. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

To make a request or ask about this notice, email info@triage-sec.com with the subject Applicant privacy request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. If an appeal right applies, reply to our response to request an appeal. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination or retaliation.

We may update this notice and will revise the date above and provide additional notice where required. Our Privacy Policy provides further information about website use, security, and privacy requests.
